In Good Company was sponsored by the Goethe Institut-Chicago in Houston, St. Paul, and Milwaukee. The Milwaukee event was held on Sept. 27, 2025. and was a very unique walking theater production which blended storytelling, music, dance, public ritual, and local history.
In Good Company invited audiences —much like the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in Spain, where thousands from across the globe walk together in search of meaning and connection—to reflect on what it means to be seen, heard, and respected in civic life and to ask themselves how, even when we see the world differently, we can still move forward together. Led by Chicago-based Theater Y, participating Milwaukee arts groups included the Milwaukee Mandolin Orchestra, Rufus King High School Drumline, Wild Space Dance Company, and Zoongwe Productions (Jingle Dancers).
