Friends of the Max Kade Institute Annual Meeting 2026

Join the 2026 annual meeting of the Friends of the Max Kade Institute, which will be held at Kegel’s Inn. The business meeting will be followed by a luncheon featuring German dishes and a presentation on “Milwaukee Brewers in the Post-Prohibition Era” by Timothy Holian, Lecturer in the Department of World Languages at UW–Whitewater.
Afterwards, take a two-part private tour of the Miller Brewery production site and archives. The latter contains fascinating materials spanning the company’s 170-year history, dating back to its founding by Frederick Miller (Friedrich Müller), an immigrant from Württemberg. Please note that the brewery part of the tour requires a lot of walking.
